More than a pretty face, the Optima is an incredible quality, because of its refined skeleton and upscale lodge. Four powertrains are offered: a 185-hp 2.4-liter or a 245-hp 2.0-liter turbo with a six-speed programmed transmission; a 178-hp 1.6-liter turbo with a seven-speed programmed; and a module half breed, appraised at up to 99 MPGe consolidated.
